Pomegranate seeds with orange-blossom water

Orange-blossom water is normally sold as ilma zahar in Malta.
For 2 people, you will need:
The pulpy red seeds of two pomegranates, two teaspoonfuls of sugar (optional), orange-blossom water (ilma zahar), mint leaves (to garnish).
Cut the peel off the pomegranates and carefully remove the seeds so that they are not crushed. Divide them between two clear glasses, add a teaspoonful of cane-sugar to each if the pomegranate taste is too tart for you, then stir into each glass a tablespoonful of orange-blossom water. Chill thoroughly before serving garnished with mint leaves.
