Who's selling fresh sardines?

  • Fresh sardines are a summer favourite all over the Mediterranean, but I can't seem to find any at the fishmongers here in Malta. Any leads?

  • Connie's fish shop on Mosta Road, St Paul's Bay had lots of lovely fresh sardines last weekend - and even better, they were filleted. Put them under the grill as they are, or dip them in a little egg and flour and fry them - fantastic.
