Where can I find vanilla pods?

- A friend came back from London with vanilla pods bought from a spice shop. She made some vanilla-infused sugar by burying a pod in the sugar jar for a few weeks.
I suppose I could dissolve the sugar in water and add a few drops of vanilla essence, then leave to solution to evaporate. But this is messy and more chemistry than cooking.

I tend to find that Good Earth is always the best first stop for any spice or exotic ingredient that you are looking for. If you don't find it in their actual shops at Balluta and Smart Supermarket, call the company to find out about stocks.
