For breakfast on the run throw together this delicious 5-minute super banana smoothie.


  • 1 banana, frozen, sliced
  • 1 pitted fresh date, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 500ml (2 cups) milk (cows or soy)
  • 75g baby spinach leaves or trimmed kale leaves


  1. Blend the banana, date, chia and milk in a blender until well combined. Add the spinach or kale and blend until smooth.
